Amazon Project Kuiper | 2023 - 2024

Amazon Project Kuiper is a relatively new business to Amazon, beginning almost 5 years ago. Kuiper is on a mission to bring connectivity anywhere in the world, and GTM plan is for Fall 2025. To do that, Project Kuiper will need to put 3600 low-earth orbit satellites into space, which began with a test flight in October 2023, known as a "Protoflight," signaling that Kuiper is on track to GTM as planned. â€‹

The goals for this event were primarily around worldwide neutral to positive sentiment in press coverage, which was achieved with global news outlets, including the New York Times, GeekWire, and Yahoo to name a few. A secondary goal was to create compelling content that can be used to share with media, policy makers, potential partners at future events to convey that Kuiper is real and coming soon.

In addition to this exciting Proto launch, I also led the execution and management of several keynote and session presentations, ABM campaigns, public policy and press events in addition to industry conferences, community events and consumer activations.

Amazon at CES 2023

CES 2023 consisted of a 20,000 square foot public exhibit that showcased 100+ products and 30 demo experiences within 11 different vignettes representing various home environments, as well as a hotel room. Our goals was to highlight the many possibilities with Amazon products and partners.

We had a 20,000 square foot private meeting space that included 10 private meeting rooms, a private whisper suite and a device display to support business development meetings.

There were 1,136 articles published, including coverage from CNET, Stacey on IoT, and The Verge.

Outside of PR coverage, we drove the conversation by creating an Amazon at CES landing page that was first used to promote our presence, and onsite became a hub for announcements, exhibit highlights and demo experiences. We also promoted our presence before the show on LinkedIn with a promotional ad. Onsite we engaged through Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Click here to see our YouTube playlist for more content.

AWS | 2019 - 2020

Managed a variety of partner and industry tradeshows, from 20x20' - 60x80' throughout North America and EMEA. Shows included VM World US, VM World Barcelona, Dreamforce, CES, and Distributech. Booths typically included demo kiosks, presentation theater, meeting space, expert bar, and reception with an overhead hanging logo.

Presence outside of the booth regularly included speaking sessions,  executive meetings, and city-wide activations. One example being a food truck distributing fries and shakes to conference attendees at VM World US, as well as the public, to provide awareness of a new partnership and garner additional leads. The premise of the experience is to highlight the natural partnership, by broadcasting that these partners go together like fries and shakes. Food truck was outfitted with monitors that displayed videos highlighting the partnership and collateral was available for attendees to learn more.

Other in-booth activations include a life-size Echo device that highlighted key integrations and allowed attendees to experience up and coming products.
